Photos of the
renovation of the Honest Alley Exchange! P10
The sidewalk heading towards my shop. Note the rails that are going
in for the permanent railing.
Looking back towards the street from the walkway - cannot wait to
see this area landscaped!
Public restroom area is close to finished. Floor is in as are
fixtures!
This is the space next door to mine - close to being "designer
ready" with some drywall in and some of the rough electrical complete.
This is the same space as above
I have a DOOR!!!!!!!
The furring strips have been applied to the wall - this is what the
drywall will attach to. Most of the rough electrical has been installed.
There are still a few boxes that are incomplete in the ceiling for the
lighting and outlets and none of the electrical trim (outlets and
switches installed) has been completed.
This is the area where my office and storage will be. In front of
the office wall (near the window) will be the seating area for the
store! My electrical panel is in.
My contractor will begin on 9/17 installing my couple of walls and
rough electrical (from the wires hanging down). The HVAC unit will be
installed against the right wall inside a closet my contractor will
build tomorrow. Hopefully this part will go FAST!
View from the back of the store to the front. We have TONS of
natural light in this space, even on a cloudy day like today!
Ceiling drywall is mostly finished but still a few sheets left to
complete.
My neighbor, Dorothy Riddle (Hair Riddles) is beginning her build
out as well! Walls are going in this weekend - it's amazing how quickly
two people can work when motivated! Dorothy's husband and brother in law
have done a tremendous amount in just a day and a half!!
More of Hair Riddles - Dorothy's station will be over on this side
and the shampoo bowls will be behind the middle wall on the right of the
photo.
